The name leans into the city's mythology, but the genetics tell a more traditional story. Our lineage records list the parents as O.G. LA Affie crossed with Afghani, which means both sides of the family trace back through California OG stock to Afghan landraces. The Hollywood name is marketing. The actual plant is old-world Hindu Kush lineage. The terpene profile reflects that heritage. Caryophyllene dominates at 0.65%, followed by limonene at 0.42% and humulene at 0.34%. That caryophyllene-dominant profile is typical of Afghani-descended indicas, spicy, peppery, earthy notes with a touch of citrus rounding out the edge.
