Reach the cannabis crowd the big ad networks won't touch
Herbistry420 is cannabis education, reviews, and a daily crossword people come back for. Vapers, growers, edibles people, gear nerds. If that's your customer, this is a good room to be in. Most platforms won't even let you in the door. I will, if you're a fit.
Small, specific, and hard to reach anywhere else. That's the whole pitch.
This isn't a random banner farm
The people here are into vaping, edibles, growing, gear, and the culture around all of it. They're specific, they're engaged, and they don't get served much anywhere else.
High intent
They read the reviews before they buy, watch the builds, and come back for the puzzle. This is a buying audience, not a passing glance.
Hard to reach anywhere else
Most big ad platforms ban cannabis outright. The people you can't target over there are right here, and they're used to being welcomed.
In the content, not the gutter
The headline spot sits on the crossword board while people play. It gets seen, not scrolled past or eaten by an ad blocker.
Where your ad actually goes
No mystery, no fine print. Here's exactly what the spots look like.
The headline spot
On the board, inside the daily crossword
Highbrow is the daily puzzle people open and play. Your billboard sits right on the board while they do it. Better yet, you can theme the whole board to your brand: tile colors, a gradient, the lot. I run one to three advertisers a month, tops, so it never turns into noise.
Across the site
Banners and sidebar slots next to the content
These run on the blog, the tools, and the big one: the strain database. That's a deep, searchable library people land on from search every day, and your spot sits right there with it.
Every tool, the timer, the calculators, the strain finder, gets its own spot, and I cap each one at three brands. No wall of banners, ever. When a tool isn't full, you might catch an “advertise here” card in the rotation. That's the open seat, waiting on you.
Full-width banner. Mid-article, listing pages, and tools.
Sidebar box next to reviews and strain pages.
The strain database is the workhorse
Thousands of searchable strain pages people find from search every day. Your banner sits across the top, your box in the sidebar. It's the steadiest spot on the site, and it's open for business today.
More spots are rolling out across the site soon. If there's a page you want your brand on, tell me and I'll see what I can line up.
What you can run
Three ways in. Not sure which fits? Tell me what you're launching and I'll point you at the right one.
The Billboard
Own the daily crossword board.
- Your art on the board inside Highbrow, our daily puzzle
- Theme the whole board to your brand: tile colors, gradients
- One to three advertisers a month, max. No clutter
- The headline spot, where people are actually looking
Across the site
Steady presence next to the good stuff.
- Runs across the strain database, the blog, and the tools
- Banner (1200×200) and sidebar (300×250) spots, live now
- Right alongside the content people came here for
- We set the dates together. No long lock-ins
The works
The board plus the site, built as one run.
- The billboard and site slots in a single campaign
- Worked around what you're launching and who it's for
- Best value if you want the place to feel like home
- We figure out the shape together
Want a bigger swing?
If a banner isn't enough, you can take over a whole tool. These are custom, one brand at a time, and we build them to fit. Nothing off a shelf.
Skin the Sesh Timer
The Sesh Timer is the tool people run during an actual session, so they're staring at it the whole time. We can turn your brand into a full theme: your background, your colors, the particle effects, even the sound it makes when the timer lands. One brand, head to toe.
Present the Edibles Calculator
People open the edibles calculator to work out their dose before they make a batch. That's focused, high-trust time. Your brand can present it, clean and low-key, right where people are paying close attention.
The honest part
I'm picky about what goes up. I'd rather run a few ads that actually fit than paper the place with stuff nobody wants. If your thing is solid and it belongs here, I'll make it look good. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you straight.
The boring but important questions
What does it cost?
Depends on the spot and how long you run. The billboard is the premium one because it's the headline and I only run a few a month. Site slots are cheaper. Tell me what you're after and I'll send a straight number, no song and dance.
Who makes the ad?
You bring the art, I make sure it fits and looks right on the page. The billboard is a 3:2 image, banners are 1200×200, sidebar spots are 300×250. If you're stuck on sizing, just ask.
What won't you run?
Anything sketchy, anything I wouldn't put near my own audience, anything that's a bad fit for the room. I'd rather tell you no than burn the trust I've built here.
How long do ads run?
The billboard is sold by the month. Site slots run by campaign, so we set the dates together. Nothing locks you in for ages.
Do you do affiliate or commission deals?
Sometimes, yeah. If you've got an affiliate program and the product is genuinely good, I'm open to it. Reach out and we'll talk it through.
Want a spot?
Tell me what you're working with, who it's for, and which spot you're eyeing. I'll come back with rates and we'll figure out the rest.
