About
Do-Si-Dos is an indica-dominant hybrid bred by Archive Seed Bank, a Pacific Northwest seed company founded by Fletcher Watson (known in breeding circles as ThaDocta). Archive initially built its reputation on Face Off OG BX2 hybrids in the mid-2010s, and then reached wider commercial success with the Do-Si-Dos line. The cross is OGKB (Original Girl Scout Cookies Breath) with Face Off OG BX1, pairing two phenotypes from lines Archive had been working with for years. The strain takes its name from the Girl Scout peanut butter sandwich cookies, which is a nod to the OGKB parent's Girl Scout Cookies family lineage rather than a direct cookie ancestry. Do-Si-Dos exploded in popularity in the late 2010s and reshaped consumer expectations for dense-nugget indica hybrids with heavy resin production. The terpene data explains why. Caryophyllene leads at a high 1.05%, with humulene at 0.47% and limonene at 0.39% in supporting positions. Those three terpenes combined account for nearly two percent of the flower's weight, which is high by modern commercial standards and part of why Do-Si-Dos consistently presents with a dense, sweet-earthy aroma that doesn't fade in the jar. Linalool at 0.26% adds a floral softness that offsets what would otherwise be a heavier caryophyllene-forward profile. Our database chemotype classification is "Purple (Caryophyllene-dominant)", consistent with indica-leaning hybrids where the peppery-spicy terpene signature carries the aromatic lead. THC ranges between 13.4 and 18.2% across the lab samples, which is moderate despite the strain's heavy-handed reputation. The effect profile in our data lists euphoric and relaxed as the tied top effects, with sleepy in a close third. That arc, from euphoric upfront to relaxed and then sleepy, is the typical late-session evening indica profile, which tracks with how Do-Si-Dos is generally described and consumed.
Why does Do-si-Dos feel pain-relieving?
Do-si-Dos's pain-relieving effects are linked to its dominant caryophyllene (1.05%), one of the few terpenes that binds directly to CB2 cannabinoid receptors. Complemented by humulene (0.47%), associated with appetite suppression and anti-inflammatory effects.
