Diamonds
Large crystalline THCA structures extracted from cannabis, among the most potent forms of cannabis concentrate available.
Cannabis diamonds are large, crystalline THCA structures that form during a specialized extraction and crystallization process. They are among the most potent cannabis products available, often testing at 95% to 99% pure THCA, which converts to THC when heated. The crystals resemble actual gemstones, ranging from tiny grains to chunks the size of a pea or larger.
How Diamonds Are Made
Diamonds form through a process called diamond mining or nucleation. A cannabis extract (usually BHO) is placed in a sealed jar at controlled temperature and pressure for an extended period, typically two to four weeks. During this time, THCA molecules gradually crystallize out of the terpene-rich solution, growing into larger and larger structures. The remaining liquid is the terpene-rich terp sauce. Producers may sell the diamonds and sauce together or separately.
Using Diamonds
Diamonds are consumed primarily through dabbing. Because pure THCA diamonds have minimal terpene content on their own, they are often paired with terp sauce to add flavor and entourage effects. Some consumers add small diamond fragments to joints or bowls for a potency boost. The experience of dabbing pure diamonds is intensely potent but can feel one-dimensional without terpenes. For the fullest experience, choose products that include both the crystalline diamonds and the surrounding terpene sauce in their natural ratio.
