This pockety erig review covers JCVAP’s electric dab rig — a concentrate vaporizer that comes with a leather carrying case, LCD display, 3 color-coded temperature presets, and your choice of 6 different insert materials. Fordee tested the Ruby insert version and was blown away by the flavor. Read the full pockety erig review below to see if it belongs in your collection.
What Is the Pockety eRig by JCVAP?
The Pockety is an electric dab rig (eRig) made by JCVAP. It features a built-in glass bubbler, an LCD display with temperature control, USB-C fast charging, and a joystick-style cap to cover the atomizer between sessions. It’s designed primarily for concentrates (rosin, wax, live resin) and comes in 6 insert options at different price points. The name “pockety” is a nod to portability — though as Fordee notes in the video, you probably wouldn’t actually put this in your pocket given the bubbler size.
Pockety eRig Review: What’s in the Box
Inside the leather carrying case (which doubles as a shoulder sling) you’ll find:
- Pockety eRig device (with Ruby insert installed)
- Glass bubbler (pre-attached)
- Joystick cap (stored inside the case, push to install)
- Quartz insert (included as a second insert option)
- USB-C charging cable
- Q-tips for cleaning
- Wire brush (for dry herb use)
- Dab tool
- User manual
Pockety eRig Review: 5 Features That Stand Out
1. Ruby Insert: Incredible Flavor, Zero ISO Needed
The standout feature of this pockety erig review is the Ruby insert. After 20 dabs, Fordee cleaned it with nothing but Q-tips — no isopropyl alcohol — and it came out spotless. The flavor delivery is described as “delicioso” and “better than a Puffco Peak.” Ruby inserts retain heat well, clean easily, and produce some of the cleanest vapor flavor available in any eRig on the market. The device is also available with SiC, Quartz, or Diamondium Grade A inserts (the Diamondium Grade A runs $900 — for those who want the absolute best).
