Ed's TNT Pipescents 2.0: A Wooden Convection Vaporizer for Torch and Ball Vape Sessions
The Pipescents 2.0 from Ed's TNT is a hand-turned wooden convection vaporizer with no battery and no electronics. I go over the device and its features, then run two sessions: one with a butane torch and one under the Cannabis Hardware Airstream ball vape. It also fits heads like the Ruby Twist, Universal Baller, and WoHW.
by FordeeThe Pipescents 2.0 from Ed's TNT looks like a classic wooden pipe and works like a modern convection vaporizer. In this video I go over the whole device, then run it two ways: once with a butane torch and once under a ball vape.
What the Pipescents 2.0 is
Ed hand-turns every Pipescents from solid wood in the USA, so no two come out identical. It's three pieces: the top intake adapter, the load section, and the long handle, and the whole thing measures just over 6 inches (around 16 cm). Inside you get high-temperature O-rings, conical screens, and a stainless steel heat displacement disc. Ed even tucks a tin of his Bomb Ass Butter into the box.
There is no battery, no coil, and no charging cable. The heat comes from whatever you point at it, and that flexibility is exactly what makes this thing interesting.
Torch mode
The simplest way to run it is a standard butane torch. It's still convection: the flame is the heat source, the airflow does the work, and the goal is vapor, not smoke. Technique matters with a torch, so I run a full session in the video to show you how it goes.
Ball vape mode
The intake adapter is sized to sit under a wireless ball vape heater head. In the video I run it on the Cannabis Hardware Airstream, and it also works with heads like the Ruby Twist, the Universal Baller, and the WoHW. If you already own a ball vape, the Pipescents 2.0 slots right into the setup you have.
The Airstream has earned its spot on my desk already. It's the same heater I used for the silicon carbide ball upgrade, so if you want to see more of it in action, start there.
What's in the video
A full look at the device and its features, then the two sessions back to back: one on the torch, one on the Airstream. By the end you'll know exactly what this piece is and whether it belongs in your rotation.
If you've been curious what a handmade wooden vape brings to the table, this is a good place to start.
