Learning the DaVinci Artiq Hydrotube how to use process is easier than it looks. The Hydrotube is a water filtration attachment designed for the DaVinci Artiq, a 510 cartridge vaporizer with an already impressive elongated cooling path. Add the Hydrotube on top and you get a silky smooth, water-filtered hit every time, whether you are at home or at a friend’s place.
What Is the DaVinci Artiq Hydrotube?
The DaVinci Artiq Hydrotube is a bubbler-style water attachment that connects directly to the top of your Artiq vaporizer. Unlike most pen-style 510 vapes that deliver warm hits, the Artiq already cools vapor through its extended internal path. The Hydrotube takes that a step further by adding water filtration. The result is noticeably cooler, smoother vapor with zero cough. It is especially handy for store-bought cartridges that can otherwise feel harsh on the throat.
One thing to keep in mind: the DaVinci Artiq Hydrotube attachment has no locking mechanism. It stays flush with the device through friction alone, which means it could pop off in your pocket. This accessory is best suited for home sessions rather than daily carry.
DaVinci Artiq Hydrotube How to Use: 4 Easy Steps
Follow these 4 easy steps to attach and use the DaVinci Artiq Hydrotube water attachment:
Step 1: Remove the Current Mouthpiece
Start with the Artiq powered off. Place your fingers on both sides of the bottom of the device and pull gently to open the casing. Then, use a thin tool like a pen cap and push it into the small hole at the bottom of the mouthpiece port. When you push inward, the rubber mouthpiece pops up from the top and can be removed cleanly. Pressing down will not work. You must push through the bottom hole to eject the mouthpiece upward.
Step 2: Attach the Hydrotube
With the regular mouthpiece removed, take your Hydrotube and identify which end goes on top. One side is the mouthpiece end where you inhale, and the other has a small circular indentation. That indentation end connects to the Artiq. Press the Hydrotube onto the top of the device until it sits flush. It will not lock into place, so handle it carefully. Reassemble the bottom casing to secure the shell.
