Learning how to infuse honey with cannabis at home is easier than you might think — especially with the right device. In this video Fordee makes a small batch of cannabis honey (about 200g) using the Pot by Noids infusion machine. The three-step process — decarb, load, strain — gives you a versatile weed honey you can add to tea, yogurt, baking, or anywhere you would normally use regular honey.
What You Need to Infuse Honey with Cannabis
- Pot by Noids infusion machine (or alternative: slow cooker / double boiler)
- ~200g raw honey (roughly half a standard 350g jar)
- Decarboxylated cannabis flower — ground, large stems removed
- Oven thermometer (for the decarb step)
- Glass jar for storage
How to Infuse Honey with Cannabis: 3 Easy Steps
Step 1 — Decarb Your Cannabis
Decarboxylation converts THCA in raw cannabis into active THC before you infuse. Without this step, your cannabis honey will not have much effect. Here is how Fordee does it:
- Preheat your oven to 110–115°C (230–240°F). This range preserves terpenes while fully activating THC.
- Spread ground cannabis in a single layer on a parchment-lined tray.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until the material turns from bright green to an olive or brown tone.
- Let cool completely before loading into the Pot by Noids.
Tip: The Pot by Noids has a built-in decarb mode if you prefer a hands-off approach — but oven decarbing is faster when you are in a hurry.
