Knowing how to clean DaVinci IQC vaporizer correctly keeps every session tasting fresh and extends the life of the device. All the removable parts — mouthpiece, flavor chamber, grommet, metal pick, and oven ball — come apart easily and can be soaked in isopropyl alcohol. No special DaVinci IQC cleaning kit required. Here are 5 simple steps using only what you likely already have at home.
What You Need to Clean Your DaVinci IQC Vaporizer
Before starting the how to clean DaVinci IQC vaporizer process, gather these supplies: isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher), a small glass or container, Q-tips, a soft brush (an old toothbrush works), and paper towels. That is all you need for a full DaVinci IQC isopropyl alcohol soak and detail clean.
5 Simple Steps — How to Clean DaVinci IQC Vaporizer
- Disassemble the removable parts — Tap or push the mouthpiece to pop it off. Use the bent end of the metal pick to hook the lip of the flavor chamber and pull it straight out. Slide off the grommet. Turn the oven ball counterclockwise to unscrew it. Drop all parts — mouthpiece, flavor chamber, grommet, metal pick, and oven ball — into your small glass. These are the only DaVinci IQC flavor chamber cleaning parts you need to remove; the battery stays in the device.
- Empty the oven — Open the oven lid and empty any remaining herb into your ABV container before soaking. Use your fingers or a brush to wipe out the bowl. Do not submerge the main IQC body in liquid — only the detachable parts go into the alcohol soak.
- Soak parts in DaVinci IQC isopropyl alcohol — Pour enough isopropyl alcohol into the glass to fully cover all the parts. Let them soak for a minimum of 2–3 hours. For a deeper DaVinci IQC parts soak, leave them overnight — the longer the soak, the more residue dissolves. The isopropyl alcohol breaks down resin and plant oils without damaging the metal or silicone.
- Detail the oven and exterior with Q-tips — While the parts soak, dip a Q-tip into isopropyl alcohol and clean DaVinci IQC mouthpiece seat, the inside of the oven walls, and around the buttons. Use circular motions to lift any residue. For the DaVinci lettering on the exterior, use a soft brush dipped in alcohol to work into the grooves. Wipe dry with a paper towel when done.
