How-To Make Cannabis Infused Milk (CannaMilk) | Herbistry420
NOTE: I made myself a hot chocolate with this milk last night… OMG, I was so stoned it was uncomfortable… hahaha. Be careful when using pulp and hash together as there is no reliable way to guesstimate the THC content. I definitely should have started with a smaller amount of milk to test. hahaha
In this video I show you how to make Cannamilk. If you are vegan you can substitute Whole Fat Milk for Whole Fat Coconut Milk. Do not use low fat, or non fat milk… there isn’t enough fat content for the THC to bind to. Also, soy, oat and almond milks do not contain enough fat either. You do not have to use Concentrates or Pulp you can use flower (which would be much easier to estimate the THC content of the end product).
You do not have to make the milk with a machine either. I use a Magical Butter Machine, but you can do this on your stove by heating the milk in a pot for 30 minutes and not taking the temp over 165°F or 74°C. You would then strain the product form the milk the same in the video.
Keep in mind the milk should last as it would have normally. Also do not take the temp over 212°F or 100°C as that is when the milk will start to curdle and will become acidic and not taste right as well as change the texture of the milk to lumps.
If you need a dosage calculator you can always us the one at www.scientificedibles.com , there isn’t a milk preset but it should give you a round about number that you can work with.
I’m going to try and balance the sweet and savory recipes that I share so there is something for everything. Plus I have a super eclectic palatte so I love switching things up in the kitchen.
Note: I had hoped to upload this last night but was impossible after the hot choclate… I was so high I couldn’t focus on the type on the computer. hahaha
Note: Remember the strength is dependant on how much flower, concentrate and/or pulp you use. I used probably 2 grams of hash and the left over pulp from a Vegatable Glycerin infusion. This for sure was overkill for me.
IMPORTANT: If I wanted the 1L of Milk to contain around 50mg of THC per (1 cup) serving. Then I could have used 5 grams of Flower that is 20% THC. If you are drinking hot choclate where you’ll use 1 cup, consider that. If you are adding a Tablespoon to your coffee then maybe you would want it stronger? Depends on your tolerance.
